Our Definition of an Ambassador
Ambassadors are the first contact for students to provide resources, guidance, and support. They are responsible for a specific group of students who help facilitate members' curiosities concerning academic and career development. Ambassadors are placed with other like minded ambassadors that are responsible for a small group of students and for keeping open communication with the administrators.

Why would I want to be an Ambassador?
I get to build and foster my community by enabling the next generation with resources and my own personal expertise to succeed.
The immigrant experience is unique, with many ups and downs, mistakes, lessons and everything in between. I want to bridge the gap of uncertainty, confusion, and systematic factors that hinder immigrants’ success.
I want valuable volunteering experience from a local non-profit organization.
How can I become an Ambassador?
You can become an Ambassador by signing up above under the button ‘apply’ or click the link here. One of our team members will reach out to connect with you within 48-72 hours of receiving your application.
What is the time commitment of an Ambassador?
Ambassadors are placed within a group of 3-4 other like minded individuals, so the responsibilities are not solely on you or another member. This is strictly a volunteer position, so you get to cater your time commitment to fit your schedule. However, our team requires you to participate at least 1-3 hours a week, including a monthly all-hands meeting. Additional time may be required depending on the organization needs.
What if I don’t want to be an Ambassador, but I still want to contribute to the organization?
We offer many ways you can contribute to our organization, without only becoming an ambassador. If you are interested in contributing to our organization, you can do so by becoming a partner, a collaborator, a donor, or a community advocate.
